College Boys Held Quilts to Save a Girl Who Attempted to Jump off Roof

Local time 12pm April 23, A girl was seen sitting on roof of a student dorm as if she were going to jump off at a university in Yinchan City Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Before firefighters arriving, tens of college boys at once spread their quilts to compose a rescue net at the foot of the building preventing a tragedy.

"It's a teacher who pulled back the girl finally." said a firefighter from fire brigade of Yinchan, mentioning that when they and 120 (medic emergency staff) reached the site, those boys had held up quilts for a while. Then they set up professionally a rescue cushion instead. The accident happened at a 13-story dorm only residing girls. At spotting the girl's dangerous behavior, boys quickly moved away the bicycles around the building, carried out their own quilts, and lifted them forming a huge saving net.

"There are about fifteen quilts held by tens of boys at that time." an eyewitness at the scene recalled. It was lunch time when many students were gathering there. Holding their breath for the girl, everyone tried to help orderly, with several girls sobbing at low voice.
